By using podcasts as classroom texts, we provide more equitable access to educational content and provide students practice in their literacy skills through listening comprehension.

Marketing Campaign Manager

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone analytical with digital marketing experience who can be laser focused on lead generation and marketing automation. Projects range from CPC campaigns, email campaigns, to webinar execution - ideally you have experience in a range of campaigns and can analyze the outcomes to make recommendations to optimize conversion. You’re a curious learner and driven person who is always looking for ways to do even better. You will be comfortable as a brand ambassador for Listenwise, communicating our message across multiple social media platforms.

The Role

You'll work closely with the Director of Marketing to set up marketing campaigns, determine appropriate targeting, and optimize processes within our CRM and run and manage our paid digital campaigns. Together our team will work to grow qualified leads to achieve our goals at both the top of funnel (prospects) and bottom of funnel (customers).

Fellow team members will look to you as the subject matter expert for all-things marketing automation including (but not limited to): setting up campaigns and workflows in our marketing automation platform (Sharpspring), optimizing our nurture, establishing proper tracking for marketing campaigns, and understanding how data flows through various systems. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.

Responsibilities
  • Lead paid social campaigns (ie: FB ads) including campaign development, optimizations, reporting/measurement
  • Optimize effectiveness of marketing automation tools and programs
  • Nurture the ‘user journey to marketing qualified leads’ - manage the set of actions and workflows which define what email campaigns are sent to which users (and when)
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to implement a customer segmentation strategy in order to build relationships and drive growth goals
  • Gather and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
  • Maintain the quality of our subscriber lists, by following list health and deliverability best practices
  • Analyze campaign and contact data to identify new revenue opportunities
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks

The Ideal Candidate
  • 2-3 years of marketing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience using marketing automation platforms (ie: Hubspot, Marketo, Sharpspring), either stand-alone or integrated with customer relationship management (CRM) system for advanced marketing campaigns. Prior experience working with Sharpspring is a plus.
  • Participated in paid social or other digital advertising campaigns
  • Knowledge of web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Search console, SEMRush,etc.
  • Strong ownership, execution, and follow up skills, with a bias to action
  • Systematic approach to problem solving
  • Excellent listener & communicator
  • Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
  • Must be able to work remotely
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Knowledge of the education landscape a plus
  • SEO experience a plus

Account Executive

What We’re Looking For

You will need to embody all of the characteristics of a strong Account Executive including relationship building, tenacity, empathy, and grit. Your desire to serve customers is critical. Equally important to the way you work with others is your ability to collaborate with colleagues and serve customers is critical.

The Role

It will be your job to help us accelerate growth through the acquisition of new school customers. This is a full-cycle sales role. You will qualify opportunities through phone and email as well as generate your own sales qualified opportunities through channels including email campaigns, conferences and cold calling. You will be responsible for a new business quota.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Qualify inbound leads in your territory to understand their needs and educate them about Listenwise
  • Develop new opportunities for sales team through prospecting campaigns
  • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • Build effective relationships using a customer oriented approach
  • Closely monitor deadlines and trigger events to ensure timely follow up to advance and win opportunities
  • Maintain accurate revenue forecasts and account notes in CRM
  • Become knowledgeable in market factors (e.g. education policies and literacy competitors) affecting Listenwise sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with all members of the Listenwise team to deliver superior business outcomes, most consistently with marketing and customer success teams
  • Occasional travel required

The Ideal Candidate
  • Highly motivated, passionate, empathetic, and intellectually curious
  • 1-2 years of sales development, full cycle sales, or account management experience
  • Experience working with educators
  • Experience working with diverse organizations and those that support them
  • Detail oriented with an ability to step back, strategize, and ask for help
  • Superior listening skills, able to identify customers unique objectives
  • Ability to influence education decision makers, and navigate objections
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Passion for education and public radio, and desire to expand opportunity for marginalized communities through education
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic start up environment in a unique industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Must be able to work remotely

Some Plusses
  • Experience selling to government institutions or school districts
  • Classroom teaching experience
  • Experience in SaaS sales is a bonus but not a requirement, we’ll teach you!
  • Bilingual, especially English/Spanish
