Sanger Unified School District
Sanger’s district wide adoption of Listenwise is a roadmap for any district with a large EL population.
Clovis North High School
Clovis North High School students listening scores increased by 26 percentage points, an increase of 15 percentage points higher than their district average.
Lowell High School
Access to academic language, channeled through engaging content, is invaluable for Lowell’s booming population of ELs.
We were looking specifically to support our English learners first and foremost, but then through our implementation, we found out how useful it was to all of our students, EL or not….[Teachers] really like Listenwise because it gives them a different representation than just text format to give students exposure or new perspectives to different content topics… and students engagement and enthusiasm has been very obvious during classroom observations.

Improve comprehension without reducing rigor. Our research-based lessons and tools are designed to challenge and support all students. Our new ELD lessons now make it easy for educators to use Listenwise across their full student population in grades 2-12.
Listenwise has the largest library of listening comprehension assessments. It’s easy to track student progress on listening comprehension, even by sub-skill (e.g. main idea)!
