The next president will face many global challenges including the Syrian refugee crisis, China flexing its power in the South China Sea and Russian aggression. There is also the continued threat of terrorism. U.S. presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have very different views on foreign policy. The overall position of the United States in the world will need to be considered as isolationist or internationalist. This policy will be determined and led by the next president.
