Teens React to Uvalde Shooting

Recently an 18-year-old gunman shot and killed 19 children and two teachers in an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas. The horrific incident was a reminder that gun violence has become a frightening reality for many students throughout the country. In this audio story, two Washington, D.C. teens reflect on the impact of gun violence on them and their peers, and suggest what might be done to address it. Listen to hear the voices of young people coping with the reality of violence at school.
