War Worsens Global Food Crisis

The war in Ukraine is threatening to cause a crisis in global hunger. Ukraine is one of the world’s biggest producers of grain, which it exports to Africa, the Middle East, and other places around the world. The war in Ukraine has hampered the country’s ability to grow and harvest this important product, putting millions of people at risk.
