New Commitments from Climate Summit

World leaders recently met in Glasgow, Scotland, to discuss ways to slow climate change. They reached agreements in several areas, including reducing emissions of methane, a harmful greenhouse gas, and preventing further deforestation of the Amazon rainforest. The agreements are non-binding, however, and some powerful countries refused to sign on, raising questions about the effectiveness of the summit.
